Increasing the availability and accessibility of affordable housing remains the Office of Housing and Community Development's top priority. In June 2022, the Council passed, and Mayor signed Ordinance 22-77, which appropriates at least $5,000,000 per year for the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) to facilitate programs that support affordable housing production.

Fiscal Year 2025-26 Request for Proposals

The Request for Proposals (RFP) was open from May 5, 2025, through July 9, 2025, closing at 4:30 PM HST. The OHCD received 11 proposals requesting approximately $28 million in funding. We appreciate your interest and effort in submitting proposals.

The proposals are currently under review by OHCD. For additional details, please refer to the provided timeline.
